Excuse me, Are you eating that? January 4th-8th

For Mindfulness, I need to start recording everything I eat. Whatever passes my lips gets recorded. No judgment from me (I hope) just an honest account of what I eat, how much and approximately how many calories.  Also what I drink although I usually only drink tea, coffee and of course water. Any exercise is also recorded with an estimate of calories burned. 

Friday, January 4th

Breakfast: Black eyed peas 2 cups 350 calories, Broccoli 1 cup 30 calories, sliced carrots 52 calories, Cheese Whiz 1 Tablespoon 40 calories, Peanuts 1/4 cup 207 calories

Lunch: Subway Veggie delight No cheese, substituted Guacamole 597 calories

Total 1,276 Also swam 50minutes laps 600 calories burned

Saturday, January 5th

Breakfast: Walnuts 1/4 cup 180 calories, 4 eggs scrambled spray on oil, 286 calories, 1 cup brown rice 248 calories, celery 2 cups 32 calories, grape tomatoes 1 cup 50 calories 1 tablespoon of butter 68 calories, 3 mini oranges 150 calories

Lunch: Ikea Veggie Dog 231 calories, homemade potato soup 207 calories, 1/2 ounce cheese 57 calories

Total calories 1,536 also swam for 50 minutes 600 calories burned

Sunday, January 6th

Breakfast: Peanuts 2/3 cup 480 calories, cheddar cheese 2 oz 230 calories, Grape tomatoes 1 cup 50 calories 7 a sugar-free cough drops 42 calories,

Lunch: 1 large Kosher Dill Pickle 0 calories, 12-ounce Sprite free 0 calories, 6-inch subway Veggie delight no cheese 230 calories

Dinner: Morrocan Lentil Soup 304 calories, Mixed green salad with 2 tablespoons Blue cheese Dressing 140 calories, 20 unsalted Almonds 160 calories

Total calories 1,636 also swam for one hour approx 650 calories burned

Monday, January 7th 

Breakfast: 3 eggs scrambled 304 calories, onions 1/4 cup 16 calories, green peppers 1/4 cup 8 calories, Black olives 1/4 cup 25 calories, jalapenos 1/4 cup 8 calories, 1 flour tortilla 50 calories

Lunch:  1.5 cups navy beans 420 calories, Mixed green salad with 2 tables spoons ranch dressing 170 calories

Supper: 2 cups minestrone Soup 200 calories, Mixed green salad with Ranch dressing 200 calories, 1/3 cup peanuts with 1/3 cup raisins 282 calories

total 1,703 calories no exercise today

Tuesday, January 8th

Breakfast : 3 hard boiled eggs 234 calories, 1/4 cup cashews, and 1/4 raisins 282 calories, 1/2 baked yam 70 calories, 1 cup mixed vegetables 50 calories, 1/2 cup jasmine rice 118 calories 2 ounces Cheddar Cheese 230 calories

Supper: German Potato Soup 322 calories 1 cup broccoli and cauliflower mix 25 calories, Mixed green salad with blue cheese dressing 167 calories

Total 1,507 calories no exercise

Some thoughts:  Whoa, way too much cheese, and dressing try to go with a vinaigrette for fewer calories. Exercised 3 out of 5 days would like to up that.  too many eggs? I love the protein though? Have any comments or questions please feel post. Would love the feedback
