I started a 100-day Workout Challenge last year and this is a record of my experience.  I’ll post five days at a time Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until I am through it, then I will update where I am now and will start posting real-time weekly journals thereafter.

100 Day Workout challenge day 71. Got another 90-minute swim in. Called Dr made an appointment, next available day in three weeks. Sucks but not surprising for the place I go to.

100 Day Workout Day 72. Didn’t go swimming this morning, but I am going to work arms tonight. I am wanting to make sure I give my muscles time to restore and build. Swimming works my arms and shoulders the most. Not sure if this is how I do it, am still playing by ear a lot.

100 Day Workout Challenge Day 73. Well, I worked out my arms and did an hour walk with hand weights. Bad idea. Not that I was sore but I was so wired I didn’t get to sleep until 7am. Need to figure the whole schedule thing out. Was lenient on calories did about 2k

100 Day Workout Challenge Day 74 Very rough day at work I have been slipping a lot. I mean I still do the exercises but am eating too much (relatively speaking My normal amount is approx 2400 calories but I have been hitting around 2200. really close. I think it is stress (work) Tonight when I got off work, I couldn’t even bear to workout. I felt really defeated. I got home and Jane was there we talked and I felt better. I did some yoga and actually worked up quite a sweat. I liked it, and I still managed to keep my streak going. Thank you Jane

100 Day workout challenge day 75. Woo Hoo! Three quarters the way there. Frank Jane and I all went to the Y. Jane and I swam and Frank did his elliptical. I ended up doing a mile (35 laps) My personal best. Still trying to get my calories down to about 1200-1500 range. Not looking forward to weighing in tomorrow.
