I started a 100-day Workout Challenge last year and this is a record of my experience. I’ll post five days at a time Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until I am through it, then I will update where I am now and will start posting real-time weekly journals thereafter.
100 Day workout challenge day 60. Inching much closer to the 2/3 way point. This will mean twice as much behind me as in front of me. YEA!!! I know day 100 is only a ceremonial stopping point and the journey will continue but I am very pleased so far. I am actually doing this. 🙂 Swam for about 40 minutes would have done more but had to get to work (8hr OT day) Will be a long week, lots of OT scheduled. 1700 calories but was craving some protein. (probably from the weights the other night. I feel stronger overall, not sure how it looks though. Wish I was getting some unsolicited comments. but not willing to fish for them.
100 Day Workout Challenge Day 61. I am a major rage bomb tonight. I am supposed to do arms and some cardio but am just seething right now. I can’t really define what it is that I am so angry about. is it blood sugar? hunger-anger? Fatigue or burn out from work? Stress? there are a lot of suspects but unable to determine a culprit. A couple of nights ago I had a similar rage wave (although tonight is substantially more profound) I felt better after I walked maybe I should just go walk and see if I feel better. I also want to EAT EVERYTHING!! I feel so freaking voracious! That’s it I’m walking.
100 Day workout Challenge Day 62. So I went on that walk last night and really overdid it. I walked about 5 miles and developed a nasty blister on my left foot and experienced some major pain in my right thigh. The pain was so bad I actually screamed out loud when I had to bend it to get into my car. I plan to have a Dr look at it soon. I need to get new thyroid pills and every three months they refuse to renew my prescription until I come see them and spend 100.00 doing so. (my insurance has a crazy deductible don’t get me started on them). Unlike walking, swimming doesn’t hurt my leg so I got an hour in tonight with Jane.
100 Day Workout Challenge. Day 63 Today was an odd day. lots of moving around running errands and did manage to swim for 45mins but very pressed for time. Calories were kind of high today around 1900, but lots of protein so I’m guessing I needed it. Was weigh in day and I am definitely slowing down Now at 314 down only 4 pounds in two weeks, am grateful to still be moving through.
100 Day Workout Challenge Day 64. I am pleased. I got a really good nights sleep nearly 12hrs but slept solidly the whole time. Got up early enough to swim for an hour and tonight is strength training on my arms
100 Day Workout Challenge Day 65 I did the strength training but then I couldn’t sleep was awake until 7am. slept from 7am to noon then got ready for work Had to use the midnight clause for the second time so far. Since I swam and walked and lifted weights the latter two after midnight, I just came home after work and went to bed counting the two things I did after midnight as ‘counting’ for today. I am glad I have only done this twice.
