“I’m not really here, just a lump in your blanket, a lump that’s snoring”

Sorry a bit cryptic. Anne is Anne Sexton a poet I admire. She had a book called “The awful rowing toward God”. The haiku is about the unknown. Rowing toward someone, somewhere, something that may not even exist. The fearful moments when you’re striving toward a dream with no land in sight.
