I visited the island of Tortola, the British Virgin Islands in November 2016. In less than a year later the island was almost entirely destroyed by Hurricane Irma. The rebuilding process is slow but unfolding. I hold memories of the warm sea waters and even warmer hearts of the local people.

We visited just before Irma too, in fact just a month after your trip. We were so sad to see the devastation, hope the island is recovering! Lovely memories!
I really want to revisit to see how the island looks now. I admire their resiliency
beautiful photos…hope they are mostly recovered by now
I need to research it. I’m sure the vegetation is a lot less thick though.
