This week’s Humpday Haiku

bird s eye view of sea water

She’s my shadowland, my spanless azure ocean, of depths unfathomed.

“Hey there, bartender, this double shot of heartbreak, needs a bit more ice.”

in the big empty, my heart gray like December, bereft trees for veins.

Though my heart’s frozen, I could not ever be cold, at least not to you

“There’s rumor of Spring, Baby buds and birds silk coo, whispers on the brisk air”

”              My soul breathes love, but lately it’s asthmatic, perhaps I need steam?”
