He wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. He was brash, outspoken and came across as very stereotypically “New York”. But I admired his writing talent very much. And I especially enjoyed his shows “No Reservations” and “Parts Unknown”. He went places most travelers wouldn’t think of going and brought people together over a meal.I’m very type-A, and many things in my life are about control and domination, but eating should be a submissive experience, where you let down your guard and enjoy the ride.” ~ Anthony Bourdain .
