There are many things that may come to mind when you think of the Kingdom of Wales. Coal Mines, an almost indecipherable language, and a proud national heritage are just a few. The most common thing though may be the immense network of castles. Built mostly by Edward I ( the King from “Braveheart). The castles stood as an ominous reminder of English military supremacy. Today the two kingdoms have been unified for centuries and the castles can be enjoyed for their sheer beauty and as the engineering marvels, they are. PS Sorry about the awful pun in the title.
